Volunteer Opportunity description

Many members of our community, especially the elderly, do not have the necessary transportation to go to medical or dental appointments around the metro area. A volunteer is needed to help coordinate and assign volunteer drivers to people that need rides. Help those in need that have no other way to get to appointments.

Key activities.

  • Document and answer requests for rides to medical and dental appointments.
  • Schedule weekly transportation assignments with volunteer drivers through phone and e-mail.
  • Record assignment outcomes and report weekly to Program Manager.
