Vice President of Virtual Board of Directors

We are seeking a leader who can bring a variety of talents, experiences and expertise to help advance our mission. As Vice President of our Board of Directors, you will help to provide organizational support through taking an active role in fundraising, financial planning, networking, public relations, strategic development, event planning, and Board recruitment. Directors must exercise a strong sense of professionalism and high moral standards, maintaining our mission and code of ethics. All of our meetings are held entirely online, all hours are fullfilled virtually.

Our Board of Directors is an international team dedicated to serving our vision of total global wellness. We are currently seeking a Vice President for our Board of Directors who can serve for a 3-6 year term and commit to 5-10 hours per month of service. Directors must be available for consultation on issues critical to the organization and the Board, given reasonable request by the Board Chair or the Executive Director.

VICE PRESIDENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee financial planning for the organization. Assist in the development and implementation of a fundraising plan. Work in partnership with the President of the Board in board communication. Carry out special projects. Maintain record of minutes and attendance at Board meetings and distribute minutes to members. Assist in creation of official copy of By-Laws and Board Policies. Assume the duties of the president in their absence.

Qualifications:
Previous administrative experience or advanced studies in a related field is preferred. You should demonstrate superior writing abilities and be comfortable communicating with other community leaders to represent Indigo International and our vision. This is a virtual position. All meetings are held online and or/ over the phone. You must have access to an active internet connection.
