Are you a guitarist, pianist, do you play drums and can you teach any of these instruments to children between the age of 10 to 15 years? If your answer is yes to these questions, then come and volunteer while naturing musical talents of disadvantaged children at TASAAGA orphanage school. TASAAGA organization is providing opportunities to those who can teach either a guitar, a piano, or drums to children at an orphanage school. The opportunity is available for people who can commit their time and talent to a period not less than four weeks. Your music class population will range from 5 to 15 kids per lesson. As a volunteer, you will be working five days in a week from Monday to Friday leaving the weekend for you to explore Uganda the pearl of Africa. The person interested in this opportunity must be ready to pay a volunteer fee of 150 US dollars or 90 GBP per week. The volunteer fee is going towards sustaining the orphanage school which is currently supporting a total of 256 children.
The school where the volunteer will be based is located 35 minutes drive north of Kampala capital city. The volunteer will be given accommodation and three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). At the school you will be having access to internet services, there is electricity and clean water from a water pump and battled water which you can buy from nearby shops at 1 dollar per battle of one litre. You can choose to volunteer for four weeks or more.
