The Medical Section of the Berkeley Free Clinic is now accepting applications for new medics!
The mission of the Berkeley Free Clinic is to empower individuals and communities by providing accessible, client-centered health services and information. We believe that health care is a right not a privilege. Our approach to health care is guided by respect, demystification, inclusivity, and collectivity. Our visions is a community that is empowered to sustain its own health.
Training for the medical section is extensive. Classes every Saturday and Sunday of (4/6-6/23) and (9/7-11/3). Plus weekly shift attendance.The minimum commitment is 2 years.
