Job Responsibilities
Angkor Resource center(ARC) ,a non profit organization dedicated to helping the immigrants in Clayton and Henry Counties advance, is seeking a Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant will do the following:Develop marketing literature for the various services provided by Angkor Resource Center(Citizenship/ESL classes, Job Training, Senior Citizen Program, etc…), Devise creative ways for Marketing ARC services, Produce a bi-annual newsletter, Assist with the promotion of ARC events (Job seminars, Health Fairs etc…) Assist in recruiting students/local citizens for ARC services via telephone, postal mail and/or the internet. Maintain database of contacts pertinent to marketing and promotion.
Skills/Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good editing and written communication skills.
- Creative
- Experience interacting with people from various cultures.
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Dependable
- Bilingual(English & Spanish / Vietnamese/ Cambodian/Laos,etc…) is not required but a PLUS!
- Previous experience designing marketing literature ( flyers, brochures,etc..) is not required but a PLUS!
