The All Stars Project (ASP) is a nationally-recognized, independently funded organization bringing an innovative model of development to inner-city youth. The ASP seeks to empower and engage young people through a unique, performance-based model.
The Chicago affiliate, launched in 2007, currently runs two programs that focus on youth from Chicago's south and west sides. The All Stars Talent Show Network provides young people with an opportunity to produce and perform in talent shows in their neighborhoods. The Development School for Youth is a leadership training program designed to introduce young people to the "performance" of the business world.
We are currently looking for outreach volunteers to help spread the word about the program's innovative approach to and support of youth on Chicago's South and West Sides. Volunteers should be passionate about working with students and providing opportunities for personal growth and development to underprivileged youth. Volunteers should be outgoing and energetic, comfortable with public speaking, and at ease working with diverse groups of people.
