Webmaster/Web Developer (volunteer stipend available)
United Planet, an international NGO located in Boston, is looking a reliable part-time (about 10 hours per week) volunteer (stipend available) webmaster/ web developer to provide consistent support and maintenance for our website and blog. We are looking to make significant changes to the layout/design and organization of our site.
You will promote cutting-edge humanitarian and educational programs among global media and to develop innovative strategy to manage and improve global awareness for United Planet.
Job Responsibilities will include several of the following tasks:
- Review business requirements - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
- Website Management
- SEO
Qualifications:
- Programming languages: PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - References or an established reputation
- Experience in Drupal and Wordpress - CSS, Drupal, HTML, JavaScript, PHP
