Volunteer Opportunity description

Our City Forest

Our City Forest is a non-profit organization in San Jose whose mission is to cultivate a greener, healthier urban environment and a renewed sense of community by involving Silicon Valley residents in the understanding, planting and care of the urban forest.

Come join community members to take care of the trees at Murdock Portal Elementary School and Alum Rock Neighborhood!

The planting events take place on February 9, 2013 from 9am-12pm. We need 75 volunteers for each event! That's a total of 150 volunteers.
