Who Can Be A Tutor?

We look for a diverse population from all backgrounds

This is a particularly fantastic opportunity for aspiring or retired teachers

Who Can I Tutor?

A population with great need!

Young adult men, ages 17-21, who are aging out of the foster care system

Where Can I Be A Tutor?

Downtown Manhattan at a residential facility near NYU

What Is The Time Commitment?

Minimum of 1-2 hours on a WEEKLY basis

Commitment lasts through the academic year

What Skills Do I Need?

RELIABILITY

A positive attitude

A great willingness to listen and socially engage

Patience and flexibility with assigned tasks

Knowledge of a particular subject is helpful (especially US History, Global History, English)
