Volunteer Opportunity description

Make a difference in the life of a middle school student!

By volunteering just 1-2 hours a week, you can help prepare youth for success in high school and beyond! Volunteers will work one on one or in small groups with students to provide homework and academic assistance for 1 hour each session. The last half hour will be spent engaging students in fun activities such as board games, large group games, crafts, and more!

Program Dates and Location

Grove Jr. High (Elk Grove Village), Now- March 21st, Tuesday/Thursday 2:45-3:50pm *Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one day per week*

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 15 years of age (volunteers under 18 need parent permission)
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
