Vort Port International's Bandha (bamboo) Bike Project works to empower rural, Ugandan villages by providing them with opportunities to increased mobilization through bamboo bicycles. This project focuses on increasing economic potential among villages, addressing gender equality, providing greater access to basic resources such as food and water, and facilitating an overall greater quality of life.
Vort Port is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to assist with CAD Modeling for the Bandha Bikes prototype development and design. We are looking for someone with:
- Experience with Sketchup and CAD
- Ability to commit at least 5 hours a week for a minimum of at least 6 months
- At least one (1) year relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
