New York State of Mind is looking for a professional with experience in the HR field that is looking for an opportunity to join an organization from its inception. This opportunity can be assumed by a person who is looking for a part-time opportunity who will hand to those in need. We participate in traditional events created by the organizations we work with as well as integrate our own volunteer events to improve the experience of our members, partner organizations, and those we aim to help.
The applicant should initially supplement this opportunity with their current full-time position, but eventually this is leadership opportunity in a start-up environment, or this role can be assumed by an HR professional who currently have a part-time role and can dedicate more time to this opportunity.
This role will support the executive leadership of NYSoM in a support role to manage the day to day operations of the growing HR department. The level of involvement of this person is critical to the future success of New York State of Mind.
Specific responsibilities include
- Strong HR Recruitment or Sales Experience
- Ability to work on a team
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized and a good problem solver. Must be professional, courteous and motivated, as you represent the organization when interviewing and recruiting candidates.
