Volunteer Opportunity description

Science Club for Girls is an after school science mentoring program that works to merge the gender gap in science and technology! Volunteers lead fun, hands-on science activities with small groups of girls once per week for 9 weeks. We provide training, support, supplies, and a flexible curriculum. We hope that girls who have fun doing experiments together in the the early grades will be more confident studying math and science later on. Your presence in their lives gives these girls an important message about the endless options of what they can be when they grow up.

The clubs are located at Mother Caroline and John Marshall schools in Boston. All schools are T- and bus accessible. Clubs run from 2:30pm to 5:30pm Wednesday - Friday.
