Chicago Youth Centers is a child and youth development organization dedicated to assisting children and youth in underserved communities in the Chicago region to discover and realize their full potential. To that end, CYC operates programs
on a continuum of care which includes Early Childhood Education, School-age Child Development, and Teen Leadership Development.

Our CYC-Elliott Donnelley Youth Center in Bronzeville is looking for a volunteer to serve in the role of front desk receptionist. Times vary, though afternoons and evenings are preferred (M-F, anytime from 9am-8pm). We can offer a flexible schedule!
Responsibilities Include:
- Greeting youth, parents, community members and staff upon entry.
- Ensuring that all entrants sign in and are directed to the appropriate
place.
- Answering the telephone and transferring callers to the appropriate person.
- Delivering top-notch customer service to all!
- Occasional project-based assignments, like decorating bulletin boards, filing, researching best practices, assisting with community events, etc....
