We are looking for volunteer english teachers to teach courses to our undergraduate and graduate students. The courses are offered on-site (in Haiti). Though we can not cover travel costs, we can provide housing for visiting professors. Our housing is in downtown Delmas and is close to our campus location. Visiting teachers may find knowledge of Haitian Creole or french helpful, but it is not required since classroom translation is available when needed.
ESL or TESOL training would be useful, but it is not required. We ask that volunteers for these classes to have undergraduate level of their education or higher. Exceptions can be made for for those with subsitutable training or experience.
A minimum of three months is required for english teacher volunteer committments. Please don't hesitate to visit our website for additional information (http://travaysosyal.com/) or to email us at email@example.com.
