At Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, there are many ways to volunteer to help ease the feelings of loneliness among the isolated elderly of San Francisco, such as: being matched with an elder to visit on a regular basis, providing companionship through phone visiting, visiting for one-time in-home events and birthdays, accompanying elders to and from our parties, and providing office support!
To get involved with our elder community, come to our next Volunteer Orientation on Tuesday, July 16th, 2013 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm at 1199 Bush St. (lower level activities room). In the orientation, we will present all of our programs and services and explain the new volunteer opportunities available.
This is your chance to sign up and start participating in our new programs and make a real difference in the lives of our elders!
If you would like to attend, please sign up on the "Volunteer Sign-Up" page of our website:http://littlebrotherssf.org/volunteer-signup/
