Erie Neighborhood House invites willing and dedicated individuals to volunteer as an office assistant at either of its two Chicago locations in West Town area and Little Village. Hours for service are as follows:
Duties include supervising office, answering phone, taking messages, answering questions, verifying space, and connecting students with tutors upon arrival.
If you are interested in connecting with Erie Neighborhood House for service learning opportunities, please contact Susana Ortiz (at 312-432-2257 or email@example.com) or Justin Hochstetler (at 312-432-2254 or firstname.lastname@example.org) to schedule an orientation.
Orientations are typically held on Wednesdays at 5:30 PM, Fridays at 1 PM, and Saturdays at 10 AM; however, hours are flexible. During orientation, individuals will register as a volunteer tutor, choose their preferred subject areas for tutoring, view a film about our organization, tour the facility, and discuss training options. Orientations last between 1-2 hours and include observations.
