AMARA is seeking an intern to work as Marketing/Sale Officer for its Volunteers and Tourists Department.
Title: Volunteering and Tourism Officer
Reporting to: Executive Director
Period: Open (At least 2 months)
Starting Day: Open
Ending Day: Open
Place of Volunteer: Battambang Province (About 290 km from Phnom Penh, the main capital of Cambodia)
Type of Volunteer: Paid
Main Responsibilities
- Building and extending liaison with civil society sector, private sector, public sector, and tourism agencies in order to make placements available for the volunteers
- Orienting AMARA' s program to the volunteers
- Arranging accommodation and transportation for the volunteers
- Keeping active communication with the international volunteers and host families and host volunteer partners
- Improve the AMARA websites
- Assisting the Director with administrative work when needed
Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor in business or other related fields
- Some experiences in marketing and sales
- Good communications and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Willing to learn new things
- Devotion in working on some weekends and willingness to go to the provinces
English skills with a proven ability to communicate both
