We are pleased to announce that the National organization of the Young Nonprofit Professional Network (YNPN National) is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Board of Directors for at least one two-year term of service. Board members have the unique opportunity to play a critical role in the development and growth of the YNPN network across the U.S., to help shape a growing national organization, and to work to build a stronger nonprofit sector. Participation on the national board is an excellent professional development opportunity and you will also get to work with a fun and highly motivated team of passionate individuals.
The YNPN National board meets by phone every month and in-person three times a year. Board members are expected to join at least one committee and dedicate an average of 15 hours a month to board work. If you are dedicated to the nonprofit sector, ready to commit to a leadership position, and want to help lead the growing YNPN movement, we encourage you to apply. We are a working board, helping to steer the course of YNPN's growth, national presence, committees, programs and activities.
