Hyde Square Task Force is looking for tutors to help our high school aged young people excel academically! We seek tutors who are dedicated to building relationships with our youth and have a passion for working with young people.
The Hyde Square Task Force is an award-winning youth development and social change organization. Through high-quality arts, academic, and leadership programming, HSTF serves over 1000 youth in the Hyde-Jackson Square area of Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. Our mission is to develop the skills of youth and their families so that they are empowered to enhance their own lives and build a strong, safe, and vibrant urban community.
Our tutoring program runs Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6-8pm, and Wednesday afternoons from 2:30-4pm at our Youth Community Development Center in Jamaica Plain. Our youth have a range of academic needs, and so we are looking for individuals who can tutor in a range of subjects. Many of our youth need help with Algebra, Geometry, Physics, Chemistry and English Language Arts.
