The Community Law Project (CLP) conducts outreach to community-based organizations to raise awareness and provide access to services for survivors of domestic and gender violence in under-served communities such as marginalized Asian, African, and Latina immigrant communities, LGBT communities, and faith communities. CLP provides culturally- and linguistically-competent advocacy and representation in family and immigration law proceedings and utilizes education, training, and public policy advocacy to effectuate change in the systemic response to domestic and gender violence both locally and globally.
The Asian Community Family and Immigration Law Specialist of CLP seeks a motivated individual to assist her in various aspects of litigation support, case management for clients, outreach and training preparation, and administrative tasks.
Sanctuary for Families is New York's leading nonprofit agency dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of domestic violence victims, sex trafficking victims, and their children. We offer a comprehensive, interconnected range of services including crisis and transitional shelter, individual and group counseling, legal services, economic empowerment services, a mentoring program, and a specialized program for children who have witnessed or experienced abuse.
Sanctuary for Families envisions a society in which freedom from gender violence is a basic human right. We are dedicated to the safety, healing, and self-determination of domestic violence victims and related forms of gender violence.
