Volunteer Opportunity description

On January 21, 2012, there will be a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at Crossroads Salvation Army Shelter. A survey taken in January 2012 found that there are 12,605 people who are currently homeless in Denver. The Cross Roads Shelter provides shelter and support for 200 of those people every night. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we will be doing various projects to help revitalize the shelter. We will be sorting donations, paining, cleaning and doing other basic building maintenance.
