The All Stars Project (ASP) is a nationally-recognized, independently funded organization bringing an innovative model of development to inner-city youth. The ASP seeks to empower and engage young people through a unique, performance-based model.
The Chicago affiliate, launched in 2007, currently runs two programs that focus on youth from Chicago's south and west sides. The All Stars Talent Show Network provides young people with an opportunity to produce and perform in talent shows in their neighborhoods. The Development School for Youth is a leadership training program designed to introduce young people to the "performance" of the business world.
We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with in-office work, helping plan events, conducting research, and assisting with other projects that arise. This opportunity provides hands on experience with a broad range of activities including: database management, special events, public speaking, administration and project management.
