Volunteer Opportunity description

Volunteer & Celebrate Earth Day

Join Nature Consortium and Earthcorps for a day of community volunteering as part of the Duwamish Alive service event. Volunteers will help restore crucial habitat in Seattle's biggest forest by removing invasive plants and spreading mulch. Plus, Nature Consortium will bring live music, live painters, art activities, and fun for all ages. Tools, gloves, refreshments, and training are provided. Volunteers should bring sturdy shoes, warm layers, and a water bottle.

This event is part of Nature Consortium's Earth Month. With events three times a week, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. The volunteer with the most hours at the end of the month will win cool prizes!
