Calling all coders: have you worked with Google Maps or Bing Maps APIs?
Feet First's Neighborhoods on Foot Walking Maps are a great resource for exploring neighborhoods around the Puget Sound on foot. We are looking to take them up a notch by making the online PDF versions interactive and include more information.
If you know a bit about creating interactive PDFs and are looking for a creative volunteer opportunity with a flexible schedule and the option to volunteer from home, this could be the perfect fit.

About Feet First
Feet First, the state's only pedestrian advocacy non-profit organization, works to ensure that all communities in Washington state are walkable. Feet First has organized and conducted Walking Audits for neighborhood associations, business districts, and schools. This includes research of the local design, community outreach, a local walking map for the event, and a detailed report on findings and recommendations.
Feet First's mission and advocacy work has several areas of focus, including informing and motivating policy makers to make decisions that prioritize funding and policies for walkable neighborhoods and energizing and informing the community at large about walkability issues through educational, interesting and interactive means.
