The volunteer advocate position is an on-call position that works directly with the victims and families coming to Lily Pad. The advocate assists them with completing the intake paperwork, accompanies the victim during their time at Lily Pad, and provides support to the victim and their family. This position calls for being on call during nights and weekends, with the schedule being worked around a person's availability. Training for this position is provided.
The volunteer advocate must be at least 21 years of age, and be willing to sign a confidentiality form.
