Volunteer Opportunity description

Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts

Launched in 1988 as the Responsible Business Alliance, the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts (SBN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to build economies that are local, green, and fair. With over 1000 locally owned and independent businesses and individuals participating in SBN's projects and programs, SBN remains the leading organization of sustainable business in Massachusetts.

SBN currently organizes and leads the following programs: The Sustainable Business Leader Program (SBLP), the Boston Local Food Program, Local First Networks, the SBN Leadership Exchange, and the Local Green Guide.

We are currently looking for bloggers interested in writing about sustainability in small businesses, sustainable community initiatives, local food, sustainability and health, sustainability and happiness, food policy, ect. We expect each blogger to contribute to our Sustainable Business Network and/or Sustainable Business Leader Program blogs at least once a month.
