Our programs are open to all. Volunteers do not need any special qualifications to provide them with humanitarian assistance to people in need in Haiti

The majority of the missions is to help children (orphans, street children, disabled children, etc.), but partner NGOs working with patients with HIV / AIDS, seniors or other public also expect the support of our volunteers.

Although we can not address all social and economic problems of the country, we are proud to say that the commitment of our volunteers improves the lives of thousands of individuals in dozens of communities.

Our volunteers are involved in the daily life of various structures in relation to children. Their role is to help children in nurseries in slums, paying particular attention to them and stimulating them in their development. The volunteer programs are varied: you can be in charge of the animation in crèches or help in special centers for disabled children.

Regardless of which program you participate, be prepared to experience significant moments. To provide the necessary humanitarian aid to the children of the suburbs of Delmas, our volunteers work in various structures: • Nurseries • Orphanages • Community center

As a volunteer you participate, according to their age, to the awakening of their children or learning basic knowledge to become autonomous and responsible adults.

You follow the objectives of the action plan include to increase the level of literacy, provide daily support to children and encourage the development of early childhood.

Whatever your age, your level of experience or your skills, your participation in our humanitarian projects in Haiti is welcome. Your enthusiasm and committed work with staff - and of course with children - rely more!

Animation for children In most institutions, your function is to assist the local staff, who has little time to devote to the children individually. You help the little ones to eat, to wash and dress.

But your role does not stop there: to prepare children for school, but also to create a calm and constructive environment, it is essential to organize events that will attract their interest.

Children especially enjoy sports activities, crafts, music and theater. Why not set up a choir, play a play or organizing a sports tournament?

Your ability to improvise and imagination will be put to the test as crèches and orphanages have very basic infrastructure. The nurseries are open from 7:30 am to 17h and we will wait for our volunteers to be present at least from 8:30 to 15h.

Do not be afraid of running out of ideas to keep the kids: workshops are regularly organized by the local team to gather the volunteers. You will be able to exchange ideas, practices, animation tools. Useful information will be also provided on the South African social system, to better understand the context in which you operate.

If after a day full of emotions with children you still have energy, you can participate in various extra-curricular activities.
