Vegetables sold in urban India is often consisting high level of chemicals as they are produced in either waste water or by using pesticides, also as available land area is decreasing so price of Vegetables are increasing.
We want volunteers who has interest and some knowledge of organic farming, we need them to promote organic kitchen gardening to school students, so that students can start growing vegetables for their house hold consumption, which will benefit them by getting them nearly free fresh vegetables, good health, nutrition, saving, proper utilisation of land resource, etc. we would provide seeds and seedlings to students.
We welcome adults (age 18+ y/o) of any country, either gender, who can speak English and have normal physical capabilities. Volunteers need to have an enthusiasm for and interest in the environment, and must enjoy spending time with children. We also welcome those who can help us widen our range of informal activities which assist in the children's learning experience.
Charges: We do not ask for fortune, only enough to meet expenses:
