Volunteer Opportunity description

Pablove Shutterbugs is coming to Texas, and we need your help!

WHAT: We're looking for a photographer to help us teach a Pablove Shutterbugs photography workshop at the 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave event.

WHERE: Holiday Inn at the Riverwalk, San Antonio, TX

WHEN: Sunday, June 30, 2013 – 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

WHY: 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave is a positively inspiring group of moms raising funds for childhood cancer research. We are honored to teach their kids – pediatric cancer patients and their siblings – to document the event through creative photography.

HOW: A lesson plan and training will be provided; no formal teaching background is required, although experience with children is helpful. The three hour workshop covers photography basics and a lesson in how to document an event. You will also lead the students during the Shave event in the afternoon.

How to apply

Contact eva@pablove.org or 323.657.5557 if you are interested! Feel free to forward this opportunity onto any photographers you know who might be interested in fighting childhood cancer with love!
