Volunteers at the Burlington Police Department offer validation and resource support to persons impacted by party and social noise in the City of Burlington. The mission is to improve the level of citizen satisfaction and to enhance communication between citizens and the police around issues of noise complaints.
Through follow-up telephone calls, volunteers provide information about police response to noise complaints. In addition, volunteers provide direct services to community members impacted by noise by listening to concerns & connecting with resources and services provided by the community.
The job includes clerical and data collection work while making follow- up phone calls to persons impacted by noise.
