Volunteer Opportunity description

Project Lead positions are available throughout our council of New Hampshire and Vermont on our Volunteer administrative teams that support volunteers working directly with girls. Gain transferable skills as you manage a virtual office utilizing leadership and time management skills while being accountable to a community committed to the success of girls.

This generation of girls deserves to lead tomorrow's boardrooms and courthouses and run our hospitals and technology start-ups.

But she might not get there, unless we create an environment to support her. We're calling on all members of society to help girls reach their full potential. Volunteering opportunities with Girl Scouts are tailored to fit your calendar, your skills, and your interests.

With your support, girls will stand up, stand out, and stand tall. Explore what being a volunteer could mean for you. We know what it means for girls.

Positions available:

Communications Coordinator- Share the value of girl scouting. Create photo and press releases about how Girl Scouts are making a difference in your community.

Community Recruiter- Boost your experience in networking, recruiting, and interviewing, while helping us find the right volunteers to lead our girls.

Community Learning Coordinator- Facilitate learning opportunities for new volunteers that include the basics about Girl Scouting and its mission. Identify the learning and networking needs of volunteers to promote building leadership skills.

Community Accounting Coordinator- Provide organizational book keeping support and guidance to troop leaders while also maintaining the Community bank account

Community Product Sales Coordinator- Share the benefits of our financial literacy program as you provide learning opportunities to volunteers so that all girls have the opportunity to "earn and learn" by participating in our two Council Product Sale programs.

Leader- The statistics regarding girls and leadership today have a predicting effect on all our futures. Get informed, and then find out how you can have an impact on girls today, to help them lead for a better tomorrow.

Facilitator- We need engaging facilitators who can provide the foundation and skill sets for a successful volunteer opportunity with Girl Scouts.
