What: Assemble a Playground!

Did you ever wonder how the hundreds of playgrounds you played on were built? Now is your opportunity to find out! Camp Salmen Nature Park in Slidell, LA has over six miles of walking trails through diverse habitats for visitors to enjoy and now it's time to add a playground for thousands of children to enjoy. This project will give you the opportunity to say to your friends/family/strangers "I helped build that!" every time you visit the park.
Come on out and enjoy the outdoors this weekend as we work together as a community to install this new feature of the Park. The project will start Thursday, February 21 and run through Sunday, February 24 from 9am-5pm each day. Any time you can spare would be great! We also encourage you to explore the trails while you are out there and see what the park has to offer.
