Daddy and Little Me is a young non-profit founded by an experienced leader in family activities specifically designed to build bonds between fathers and their children. We are currently working in the Arlington/Alexandria communities and would like to extend our programming to meet demand. We are looking for a volunteer to help us identify modest grants and sponsorships. While the position is currently volunteer in nature, our plan is to provide a modest stipend for this work as our budget grows. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape an organization with an early solid track record and great potential to address a nationwide need. Estimated time commitment is 10 hours/ month.
The Assistant Director of Development will sit on our Board of Directors and be responsible for the following:
-Lead strategic thinking on how to build a sustainable funding stream for Daddy and Little Me
-Identify and apply for appropriate grants
-Develop corporate sponsorship program and assist Board with outreach to potential sponsors
-Create recognition and relationship management program for donors
