How to apply
Book/reserve your project at least one (1) month prior to your departure date by filling out the online booking form. Please click here to fill out the online form:
Your application will be reviewed within 24 hours for you to get a feedback from our volunteer program coordinator. You will then be advised whether you have been accepted into our program and when you can deposit your program fee to secure your project spot.
As soon as we receive your full program fee payments, we will then reserve your volunteer spot and advise you to begin preparing for travel by obtaining all necessary documents (passport, visa) and meeting immunization requirements and purchasing your air ticket. Participants must make a full payment of the program fee at least 1-2 months prior to departure
International Volunteers Network, Inc works incredibly hard to keep our costs at a minimum. Our low programs fees allow anyone wishing to Travel / Volunteer overseas the opportunity to do so. Unlike other volunteer organizations, IVN Program fees are based on the actual cost of living in our Ugandan program placements. There are no hidden or markup fees. Our entire volunteer trips are packaged with a one weekend safari. A visit to this Exotic country – the Pearl of Africa is a traveler's dream come true as there are so many opportunities available to explore Authentic Uganda in one of IVN's Programs. Program fee payments are due in USD
The program fee cost is as follow:

Program fee covers for your:
1. Full Board – Safe, clean, comfortable local housing, inspected by our local project coordinator 2. Meals: 3 meals per day - Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Special meals at requests for vegetarians. 3. Airport pick up - by our IVN project coordinator (At any time, any day!) 4. Guidance and support of a local project coordinator, 24/7 in case of emergency 5. Orientation/city briefing on arrival by our IVN project coordinator. 6. Placement in a quality project, allowing you to maximize your time and efforts in a good cause. 7. Transfer to project site with our IVN project coordinator. Includes introduction to local staff and community members with whom you will be working with. 8. One weekend wildlife safari experience to the Murchison Falls National Park 9. Departure transfer at the end of your project placement 10. Personalized Volunteer Service Award certificate of achievement. 11. Letter of completion or recommendation from International Volunteers Network
Not included :Airfare and travel expenses; passports, entry/customs requirements, all applicable visa fees, airport departure taxes, travel medical insurance, meals outside the program, and free-time expenses, items of personal nature (such as laundry, medicine, phone calls, entertainment etc).
