The Christ the King Service Corps is faith-based community of volunteers living and working in Detroit, Michigan. Volunteers commit to one or more years of service, and are provided housing, food allowance, medical insurance and use of a community car. We are currently seeking teachers (grades 4-8) for the 2013-14 school year at Christ the King Catholic School. The school serves many low-income students, providing a nurturing and safe learning environment.
A degree in education or a teaching certificate is highly preferred.
