Volunteer Opportunity description

Make a positive impact on a child in your city by becoming a reading or homework tutor!

Do you care about helping the next generation succeed in school and beyond? Do you find yourself wishing you could do more to improve education for all children? If so, we need your help! Center City Public Charter Schools is looking for committed volunteers for at least one hour every week to tutor our students!

We currently need tutors, starting immediately until the end of the school year:

Extended Learning Program- Become a tutor to help students with homework after school or help with Learn-A-Thon, an interactive learning activity. Volunteers are needed in the afternoons (around 4:15-6) at our Brightwood, Capitol Hill, Petworth, and Trinidad campuses.

Bonus: There is a stipend provided at the end of the school year.
