The Mission of HandsOn Suburban Chicago is to inspire, equip and mobilize people to volunteer and take action that builds vibrant communities.
Our online presence is a big part of how we engage with volunteers, community organizations and businesses. This volunteer role is designed to help us improve user experiences and increase user engagement on our website.
Functions:
The volunteer will work with HOSC staff to
- clearly define the overall purpose and goals for the HOSC website.
- Develope a website strategy plan that will outline goals, target audiences, strategies to reach these goals and audiences
- Set up appropriate metrics to track success.
This will be a short yet impactful project for HOSC with a benefit of improved outreach and engagement.
Skills Requested:
The volunteer should have knowledge of website best practices and experience with website strategy development.Time commitment:
The volunteer can expect to spend 1-2 hours a week for approximately 1-2 months to complete the project.
