Position Summary

We are looking for graduate level interns to assist in the development of a global conservation program to protect, conserve, and direct investments to natural infrastructure to secure water supplies for people and nature. The position is based in New H

York City and will work directly with the Director of Global Securing Water Program. Hours are flexibile; however, a minimum of five (5) hours a week is required. Research can be accomplished offsite (e.g., from the intern's home or school as needed), although in-person meetings to discuss and review work will be required.

Desired Skills & Experience (education and years of experience, key competencies)

  • Full or part-time enrollment in a graduate-level program in environmental science, economics, business, urban planning, public policy,or other relevant subject
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field
  • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle a variety of tasks
  • Experience with PowerPoint and GIS, a plus, but not required
