About Agora Partnerships
Agora Partnerships is a premier business accelerator that promotes the growth of early-stage impact companies throughout Latin America; companies that are solving critical social, economic, and environmental problems in their communities. We are a global community of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and individuals dedicates to using the power of business to effect positive change. We work only with early-stage entrepreneurs where the right kind of support can significantly accelerate their ability to create impact.
Over the past two years, we have worked with 18 companies operating in some of the poorest regions of the Western Hemisphere. Over 70 percent of our Class of '11 received millions of dollars in investment, propelling these impact companies to an average of an 80 percent growth rate. Now, we are expanding from our base in Central America and searching for 30 new companies spanning the whole of Latin America to help accelerate impact for the region.
Position Description
- Agora Partnerships is issuing a call to bloggers to help expand the organization's role in providing relevant, engaging commentary on the state of the impact investment and social entrepreneurship movements both domestically and in Central/South America.
- Bloggers will operate on volunteer/part-time basis to write 1-2 posts per month (posts will appear on a rotating basis along with those of other bloggers).
- Bloggers will also participate in conversations on blog strategy, online engagement, and increasing the blog's impact.
- All posts will retain original authorship.
Commitment
- 1-2 posts per month (each post 500-750 words)
Qualifications
- Excellent communications skills: ability to write cleanly and concisely while producing compelling written commentary relevant to the space
