Job description: Ensure a safe, wholesome, and healthy learning environment.
- Support all youth participants in daily activities, such as snack, homework help and participation in clubs.
- Maintain materials, games, and equipment in good condition.
- Ensure that the classroom is clean and organized at the end of the day.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
1-2 years of direct experience working with school aged children required.
Excellent interpersonal & strengths based classroom management skills and conflict resolution.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Must exhibit good leadership skills.
Must work well with others.
Bilingual in Spanish or Creole preferred
We need someone who would be willing to work at our school in the Bronx and Harlem three days a week from 2:30pm - 5:30pm - Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays only.
