Capital Cause is recruiting for NEW board and committee leadership!

Are you a young professional eager to affect change within the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area? Are you excited about the opportunity to support a philanthropic organization? Do you enjoy connecting with young professionals to make a collective impact in the DC Metropolitan area? If so, you could be a potential asset and leader with Capital Cause!

Capital Cause is an organization dedicated to engaging young professionals in the giving process. Capital Cause seeks to do this by growing a membership of young professionals dedicated to a collective giving model, planning affordable fundraisers, facilitating training programs, partnering with nonprofits on local service projects, and awarding micro-grants to nonprofit organizations.

Currently we are looking for talented and driven professionals that are committed to building a new generation of philanthropists! More specifically, we are recruiting participants with the following experience:

  1. Ability to solicit small and large donors to support philanthropic objectives
  2. Team player that enjoys working with a diverse array of personalities. and people
  3. Experience leading and/or supporting a start-up non-profit or grassroots group
  4. Two-Three (2-3) years board of director's and/or project management experience
