Headquarters Counseling Center is looking for empathetic, caring, and non-judgmental volunteers to answer our counseling and suicide prevention hotline calls. We will soon be starting the interview and screening process for our Spring training program, which this year includes ASIST - a national evidence-based suicide prevention training program.
The first step in our training process is attending an Info Meeting and here are the choices:
- Thursday January 17th 6-7:15pm at Headquarters Counseling Center, 211 E 8th St, lower level
- Wednesday January 23rd 6-7:15pm at Fire Station #5, 19th/Iowa St (1911 Stewart Ave)
- Monday January 28th 6-7:15pm at First United Methodist Church, 946 Vermont St
