ReDuce, ReUse, ReStore! Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore

Posted on: May 1, 2013

Posted by: Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco

Description

You don't need a hammer and construction boots to build homes with Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco! Lend a hand at Habitat GSF's volunteer-driven ReStore in San Carlos! Volunteers are welcome with open arms every Wednesday through Saturday to maintain and run the store's operations.

The ReStore generates much needed revenue for Habitat for Humanity and volunteers are involved in every aspect. At the ReStore, gently used and new construction equipment, furniture, and appliances are received and re-sold to the public at a discounted price. Volunteers help receive, fix, clean, price, and organize donations, serve as cashiers, assist customers, create displays, and promote the store online and in person.

Volunteers are also welcome to work in half day shifts from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Join our diverse Habitat staff and dynamic work crew and join our lively and ambitious ReStore volunteer team!
