Interights - Human Resources Volunteer
The volunteer will be required to support the Human Resources Team in general human resources operations including reception, recruitment, and other day to day activities.
We are looking for someone who can spend 2 – 5 days with us for a minimum of 1 month (or 2 months dependent on number of days volunteered per week). We can be flexible with days. This is an unpaid position but we will reimburse your out of pocket expenses of a travel card zone 1-6 and up to £5 a day for lunch. You will be required to provide receipts before you can claim for these expenses.
You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this volunteering opportunity.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Understanding of, and demonstrable interest, in human resources
- Experience of volunteering (preferable)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good research, report writing and analytical skills
- Knowledge and experience of MS Office packages, especially Word, and Excel
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to settle quickly into a small team
- Sensitivity to working in a multicultural environment
