CLI empowers young people in the Congo by preparing them to be leaders with a proven curriculum. Why? Because we know that the ultimate solutions to the Congo's problems will come from the Congolese people. The result of our program is a cohort of skilled leaders that can spark true development across the Congo. CLI has worked with over 150 young leaders in Congo already and is expanding quickly!
We are always improving, and we're currently working to integrate learning from this year into an updated curriculum. Our program is based on best practices from all over Africa and the world and we provide a valuable opportunity for talented Congolese youth to be exposed to top-notch leadership and empowerment training.
We anticipate completing the English version by April 1, but will need to translate the updates into French (and hopefully Swahili and Lingala as well). If you can speak, read, and write any of these languages, your contribution to our work would be invaluable! Thanks to your efforts, CLI will be able to expand to 1000 youth across Congo within the next year!
We anticipate that the English curriculum will be roughly 80 pages long and we aim to have the translated versions completed by the end of April. Let us know if you're interested - we look forward to hearing from you!
