Disaster Analyst is an unpaid virtual volunteer position. Our Disaster Analysts gather data on major disasters to support operations by other voluntary disaster relief organizations, track world and national disaster trends, and monitor disasters around the world as part of our Daily Disaster Project. Prior disaster response or emergency services experience is helpful as is academic study of disasters, but is not required. Professional training is provided. Disaster Analysts interested in disaster response work may also serve as Watch Officers in our Virtual Emergency Operations Center. Membership in the Legion of Frontiersmen in the United States is required.
