Volunteer Opportunity description

The Southern California Mountains Foundation OHV Volunteer Program partners with the USDA Forest Service and the off-highway vehicle industry. The mission of the OHV Volunteer Program is to teach visitors trail ethics, land and resource stewardship, and maintain and patrol trails to promote responsible recreation on public lands. We are the eyes and ears for the Forest Service.

We have a variety of programs for the OHV enthusiast:

Participating in patrols

Patrol leader

Assisting with restoration and trail maintenance

Becoming a Site Steward

Area Coordinator

Education Outreach

We provide the training and some equipment is available for use by our volunteers.
