Be a Project Leader with Meals On Wheels of San Francisco!
Meals On Wheels of San Francisco Nourishes the Whole Person
Meals On Wheels of San Francisco served over 2200 homebound seniors last year. We are experiencing tremendous growth in our volunteer department and we could use your help. We are looking for professional volunteers who can act as Project Leaders, coordinating and leading community and corporate groups, and advocating for the homebound seniors that Meals On Wheels serves through our Spring Cleaning All Year Round Program.
NEXT TRAINING DATE: Wednesday, June 12th from 6pm until 8pm at 1590 Bryant St. SF, CA (Sports Basement Potrero)
This opportunity offers:
*Gist:You will lead small teams of volunteers through a home cleaning for a homebound senior. Responsibiliies also include meeting client ahead of time and making them feel comfortable about having volunteers in their home, doing a home safety check and acting as the liaison and companion for client during the cleaning. You direct the group on cleaning tasks to complete the project.

About Meals on Wheels of San Francisco: Our agency's mission of delivering nutritious balanced meals to homebound seniors in San Francisco has remained the same since our founding in 1970. For over 42 years, MOWSF has set the standard for alleviating the financial and emotional costs of premature and/or inappropriate institutionalization of seniors. MOWSF is the only home-delivered meal program in San Francisco that provides two home-delivered meals a day and the only organization that delivers therapeutic meals city-wide.
