Meals On Wheels of San Francisco is committed to the belief that all seniors have the right to live independently with dignity and respect in their own homes for as long as it is safely possible. It is our mission to provide isolated homebound seniors in San Francisco with nutritious meals, daily human contact and supportive services to prevent their premature institutionalization.
We are seeking leadership volunteers that will help us expand and offer more volunteer opportunities to individuals and groups, while meeting even more of the needs of the homebound seniors we serve. You will have the opportunity to be part of the launch of brand new volunteer programs at Meals On Wheels of San Francisco as one of our first Community Group Leader Volunteers!
NEXT TRAINING DATE:
Tuesday, May 14th from 6pm until 8pm at 1590 Bryant St. SF, CA (Sports Basement Potrero)
Do you want to interact with homebound seniors in San Francisco?
Are you a natural leader waiting for action?
Do you want to change the situation for seniors in San Francisco?
Do you have the passion to make a difference?
Applicable fees: $27 background check or letter from HR department at your workplace indicating you have been background checked.
