Hunger Study Overview
Since 1993, the Feeding America network has conducted extensive research every four years into the nature of food assistance services provided to people in need in the United States through the Hunger in America series.
The updated approach for Hunger in America 2014 will provide the most authoritative, comprehensive, and statistically valid demographic profiles of the people seeking food assistance to date.
As a result, the network will be able to supply unique and in-depth findings on the scope of food banking response to the hunger problem in America, the circumstances of those who seek our services, and the state of charitable food agencies that provide assistance through the Feeding America network. This study is an important step toward our goal of ending hunger in Arizona, by helping us tell the story of hunger in our community.
